Jenny Simpson to Make Rare Appearance at the 2020 Camel City Invitational

The JDL Fast Track announced Tuesday on Twitter that Jenny Simpson has signed on to race the 3,000 meters at the 2020 Camel City Invitational.

We can now announce that one of our "bucket list" athletes, @trackjenny is competing in the 2020 #CamelCityElite 3000m race. The flat track WR of 8:55.88 in this event is officially on notice! Put February 8, 2020 on your calendar!

Simpson will make her first indoor appearance outside of Boston since 2017. She has had an almost yearly appearance at the New Balance Boston Indoor Grand Prix.

The Camel City Invitational is scheduled for Feb. 7-8 in Winston-Salem, N.C. at JDL Fast Track.
