Amina Maatoug, a Dutch athlete and sophomore at Duke, placed second in the women's mile in 4:32.54 at Camel City Elite at JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. Maatoug, who achieved the second-fastest female collegiate mark in facility history and elevated to the No. 3 all-time indoor mark by a Dutch competitor, was credited with an adjusted 4:29.87 as a result of the flat track conversion at JDL Fast Track.
