Craig Nowak, the 2021 champion, placed second in the men's elite 3,000 meters in 7:48.95 at the Camel City Invitational at JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. Nowak was one of three male athletes to run under 7:50, the most in one race all-time at Camel City, and is one of seven men's competitors in meet history to achieve a sub-7:50 effort.
